Directions
From North - Hackettstown / Mansfield Area
Take Rt 57 South to Anderson Road (WC 632)
Turn Left onto Anderson Road, procede to traffic light at Route 31. (McDonald's on corner)

From North-West - Columbia, Rt. 46 Area
Take Rt 46 to Rt 31 South to Junction WC 632 - (Anderson Road Light / McDonalds)

If on Anderson Road proceed across Rt 31 onto Anderson-Bloomsbury Road end at Stop Sign (approx 1 Mile).
If on Rt. 31 South Turn Right on Anderson-Bloomsbury Road, Procede to end at Stop Sign (approx 1 Mile).
Turn Left and then Quick Right onto Bloomsbury Road. (Stay on Rt 632) Approx 3 miles to club house on left.

From South of Clinton on Rt 31 or South of I-78.
Procede to I-78. Take I-78 to Exit 7, Clinton Rd / Rt 173. Turn South on Clinton Bear Right onto 173 West, Turn right onto Bloomsbury Road-632 North. Approx 1 mile to Club House on Right.

From Phillipsburg / West
Take I-78 East to Exit 6. Turn Left onto Bloomsbury-Road 632 North. Approx 1 mile to Club House on Right.

JAKES PROGRAM
Tenth Annual JAKES Day

August 18, 2012

ACTIVITIES THIS YEAR

SHOTGUN, ARCHERY, AND FISHING!!

We were invited back to the Pequest Facility for our Annual Fishing Day this year. and we had some additional activities for our JAKES.

Staff from the NJ Div of Fish and Wildlife Hunter Safety was on hand for the kids to get some hands-on shooting with shotguns and bows.

Participants (over the age of 10) who wished to, earned credit for the shooting/outdoors portion of their Hunter Safety Course,
and those who chose to, completed their hunter safety course after the event. We had ten Jakes complete their Hunter Safety Course to earn their Juvenile Hunting Licenses.

Overall we had 125 children with their parents take part in this exciting day.

We look forward to our TENTH ANNUAL JAKES DAY IN AUGUST 2013.

We would like to thank all the volunteers and attendees that made our
2012 Annual Fishing Derby
a fun outing for all and we are looking forward to

Wheelin' Sportsmen

2013 WHEELIN' SPORTSMEN
WHITETAIL DEER HUNT

In concert with the Hunterdon County Park Commission
January 17TH - 19TH, 2013
The Spruce Run Chapter is proud to be hosting our
Seventh Annual Wheelin' Sportsman Whitetail Deer Hunt.
Our hunters gathered on Sunday, January 13, for the Orientation and Safety Meeting. The meeting pairs hunters with their guides and informs new hunters how the hunt works and what the rules will be for a safe and productive Hunt.

Hunters will be taken to their blinds as scheduled for the days of Jan 17th, 18th, and 19th.

Following the hunt, the Chapter hosts a dinner for all the participants.

2012 WHEELIN' SPORTSMEN
WHITETAIL DEER HUNT

2012 was another outstanding year for our whitetail hunters.
We hosted fifteen hunters including several "Wounded Warriors."

It was an outstanding event for all our hunters and we harvested several deer.

The Spruce Run Chapter has planned a WITO event for the Spring.

The event was scheduled for Sat. April 23, 2011, but has been postponed to a diffent date as yet to be scheduled.
