Overall the Banquet was a big success as we had 115 Attendees support us in a big way.
The Chapter netted almost 25K with a Net to Gross of 65%.
A true Golden Gobbler Banquet.

Not only did we earn our Golden Gobbler Status
we signed up 25 Sponsor members, 50 Regular members, 3 WITO and 9 Jakes.

2013 JAKES SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

One of the benefits of membership in the NWTF is the Scholarship Program, which is paid for out of the Hunting Heritage Super Fund. Each chapter in the NWTF is able to select an applicant to receive a $500 College Scholarship. The recipient must be a high school senior, a (regular or Jakes) member of the NWTF and a licensed hunter.

As part of the application, the applicant must also provide an essay as sipulated on the NWTF website.

The winner of the scholarship then competes at the state level for the State Chapter's $1000 Scholarship and all State Chapter' Winner's applications, received before Dec 31 of the applicant's senior year, are submitted to National to compete for the $10,000 NWTF National Scholarship.

A highlight of the evening, was the presentation of NWTF Scholarships to Emily Zarych, one of our graduating Jakes.

Emily was awarded the Tri-County Longbeard's $500 Scholarship and was also awarded the $1000 New Jersey State Scholarship.

Emily was presented her scholarships both at our August Banquet, and at the New Jersey State Chapter's Awards Banquet.
